The Oxford University International Festival

Oxford University Ukrainian Society invites you to The Oxford University International Festival,

which will take place at the Oxford University Examination Schools, 75-81 High Street, Oxford, OX1 4BG

on Sunday, February 26th from 11 am to 4 pm

Following last year’s great success at the Festival, Oxford University Ukrainian Society will be serving some of the most delicious traditional Ukrainian dishes, including borsch, kutya, garbuzova (butternut squash) kasha, grechana buckwheat) kasha z gribami, variety of salads, which of course taste much better with the best ever Ukrainian gorilka.

Ukrainian delights and tins of fantastic homemade biscuits with poppy seeds, cherries and other sweets will be available for sale.

We will also be selling cultural items such as traditional Ukrainianbeadwork by Ukrainian-American artist, Valerie Szepiwdycz and woodcuts from Andrij Maday, a winner of multiple art awards, including Tiffany Foundation Grant.

Visitors will get the unique opportunity to purchase limited numbers of tickets for the Spring Garden Party with the Oxford University Ukrainian Society.

The Examination Schools are normally closed to the public and will be open only for the Festival.

Admissions to the Festival are free and the money raised by our volunteers will go to support the cultural and academic activities of the Oxford University Ukrainian Society
