Making Ukrainian Pysanky Easter eggs in London


The Ukrainian Institute will be a hosting a traditional Ukrainian Easter egg painting session onSaturday, April 7th starting from 11.00AM.

A pysanka is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated using a wax-resist method. The word comes from the verb pysaty, “to write”, as the designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax.
