Making Ukrainian Pysanky Easter eggs in London
The Ukrainian Institute will be a hosting a traditional Ukrainian Easter egg painting session on Saturday, April 13th starting from 12.00 noon.
A pysanka is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated using a wax-resist method. The word comes from the verb pysaty, “to write”, as the designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax.
