We are delighted to invite you to a talk by Anna Shevchenko, where she will discuss secret meetings between the world leaders at the Yalta Conference in 1945 and her research into secret Yalta documents, as well as her trips to Crimea and Odessa, which have provided material and inspiration for her latest book ‘The Game’. A.K. Anna Shevchenko calls herself a ‘compulsive storyteller’ – she constantly tells stories to everybody who wants to listen ( or not…) One of those stories, ‘Bequest’, made it to a novel, which was nominated for George Orwell Prize in the UK, and shortlisted for two prizes at the European Literature Salon in France.

A.K. Shevchenko is the author of BEQUEST, THE GAME and two bestselling cultural guides to Russia and Ukraine. She was awarded a residential fellowship by the Hosking Houses Trust in 2010 to write THE GAME. Anna speaks 7 languages and lived and worked extensively in 32 countries.
