The Ukrainian Leadership Academy (ULA) has begun its search for Ukrainian youth with great potential not only in Ukraine, but abroad as well. In order to enhance the program’s effectiveness through cultural diversity and ensuring the plurality of ideas, thoughts, and experiences, they would like to involve ethnic Ukrainians who live abroad into the program, in order to restore and create transnational connections between Ukrainians and their homeland. The organisers believe that Ukraine’s integration with the west in terms of business, the economy, and civic society is crucial for the promotion of healthy, progressive, and vibrant development of Ukraine’s society. Thus, interaction with the west, in terms of culture, social connections and sociological trends is extremely helpful for future leaders.

Briefly about ULA

Ukrainian Leadership Academy is a program of personal and social development, main element of which is the 10-month formational course for secondary school graduates. It combines elements of physical, emotional and intellectual development based on values. Academy’s Mission is to influence the underlying social processes in the Ukrainian society by forming a generation of young people who take responsibility for our nation and have the necessary skills for this.
