Are conflicts merely a destructive part of our life? Or do they also carry a considerable constructive potential? If we look beyond the dreaded conflict symptoms in pursuit of a systematic analysis and diagnosis of the conflict causes – could we possibly expect to find a clear picture of a conflict arena where multiple interacting forces might be creatively reconfigured towards a carefully crafted, long-term settlement acceptable to all conflict parties involved?

The speaker will answer these questions by offering an insight into the structure and dynamics of conflicts. She will also explain intervention methods that are designed to de-activate destructive conflict potential and to activate the constructive potential.

This event will be held in English.
