Yevhen Hlibovytsky
Yevhen Hlibovytsky is a member of Nestor Group, looking into long-term development issues for Ukraine. He is also a founder of pro.mova, which researches how culture impacts institutions in the countries of the former USSR. He is one of Ukraine's most popular and authoritative commentators. Previously, Hlibovytsky was a journalist, mostly writing about political issues. In 2002 he became one of the leaders of journalists’ resistance against censorship in Ukraine. In 2013 Hlibovytsky was one of the founders of hromadske.tv, an important online media during and after the Maidan Revolution. Hlibovytsky serves as a supervisory board member of the newly created Public Service Broadcast in Ukraine and advises major civil society organizations in Ukraine. He teaches at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and Ukrainian Catholic University.
