Ukrainian society is undergoing tremendous transformation, the Ukrainian Institute London is delighted to invite you to this talk by Yevhen Hlibovytsky, who will discuss the evolution of values in Ukraine, changes in institutions, and the potential new role for Ukraine in the region. He will outline recent events on Maidan and in Ukraine in a wider context of culture, history, and politics. Hlibovytsky will set out the stall for a new, post-Maidan, Ukraine.

Yevhen Hlibovytsky

Yevhen Hlibovytsky is a founder of pro.mova – a think tank and strategic consultancy, which researches values and their impact on institutions in the countries of the former USSR. He is also a member of The Nestor Group – an independent expert group that is working on a long-term vision for Ukraine's future. Hlibovytsky also does expert work for OSCE in Central Asia, the Caucasus, and other post-Soviet countries. In his previous career, Hlibovytsky was a journalist and freedom of speech activist. In 2003 he was one of the founders of Channel 5, which became the voice of the Orange Revolution, and in 2013 – one of the founders of hromadske.tv, which played an important role on Maidan in 2013/14. He teaches at the Ukrainian Catholic University and Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
