Join the Ukrainian Institute London for what will be a special night, with a talk delivered by our distinguished guest. former President, Leonid Kravchuk. Ukraine's first president will discuss Ukraine's twenty years of independence, his views on current affairs, and Ukrainian foreign policy.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session with President Kravchuk.

Leonid Kravchuk

Leonid Kravchuk was the first President of Ukraine, serving from 1991 to 1994. As President, Kravchuk oversaw economic and political reform, as Ukraine transitioned to a market economy, and was a signatory of the Belavezha Accords, which dissolved the Soviet Union. After leaving office, he served as a People's Deputy in the Verkhovna Rada until 2006.
