Being humble and submissive, yet hard-working and diligent is an established historic stereotype of Ukrainian women. Whilst in Ukraine this perception has been slowly changing, Ukrainian girls and women, who live and work overseas, are still widely associated with good looks and good cooking and housekeeping ability rather than with business acumen and professional success. This makes it rather difficult to succeed in male-dominated places, such as the City of London. We are delighted to invite you to this talk by Irina Tymczyszyn, the first Ukrainian woman to be elected to partnership at a global US Law firm in the City of London. Tymczyszyn will be talking about her journey to success in the City.

This event will be held in Ukrainian.
