Katya Gorchinskaya
Katya Gorchinskaya is a Ukrainian journalist and media manager, former CEO of Hromadske Television, a bold media organization started by journalists in 2013 as a prototype of a public broadcasting service in Ukraine. She was Managing Editor for Investigative Programming at RFE/RL, working for both the Central Newsroom and the Ukrainian service of this international organization. Before that, she held the position of Deputy Chief Editor at the Kyiv Post, Ukraine's international award-winning, English-language newspaper. She has also worked as Regional Coordinator for Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), a global NGO that specializes in corruption investigations, and has contributed to many international titles throughout her journalistic career, including The Guardian, Financial Times, and the Economist.

Timothy Ash
Timothy Ash is a senior sovereign strategist at Bluebay Asset Management in London. He has worked as a professional economist for 30 years, with 20 years in banking working for institutions such as RBS, Bear Stearns, and ICBC-Standard Bank, among others. His specialism is emerging Europe economics as related to fixed-income investments. He has covered Ukraine for his entire professional career. He first visited Kyiv in 1988 and worked for the EU on a development project in Bila Tserkva in 1994–95. Since then he has visited Ukraine regularly, and writes and blogs extensively on the economic challenges facing the country. His articles are regularly published in the media, including by the Financial Times, UBJ and the Kyiv Post, and others. He has advised governments on Ukraine/Russia policy, specifically the impact of sanctions.
